Description

On this episode, we cover why night shift can be 'risky business', as it can have negative impacts on health and affect your overall quality of life.

Eating at night can have an impact on our internal clock or chronobiology, and the timing of eating plays a critical role in our overall health. Eating big meals after midnight can lead to long-term health problems.

We discuss four key strategies to help improve quality of life while working night shift.

Plus, we get a surprise pop-in by our good friend, Jacob,  a local firefighter, whose job involves a rotating schedule of shifts, including nights.  Jacob offers some wisdom from his years of experience and shares his secrets for dealing with shiftwork.
