Comparing yourself to other musicians who you put on a pedestal or label them as more “successful” tells your brain, that you are worth less than them. Where does this jealousy come from? Comparison? The real word is envy. Being envious of someone’s life, their gifts/abilities, or even their luck in life, if you believe in luck.
