So many people view negotiation as a battle with two opponents on either side trying to get what they want. I see it differently. I think the best way to negotiate is to sit on the same side of the table and ask how you can both get what you want. To be able to do that you have to understand the art of persuasion and how know what the seller wants without them even saying it. In this episode we break down the greek history behind the art form of persuasion, how to put together a proposal that makes sense for both parties, and how to play detective to make sure you craft the best deal possible.
