Today’s guest is Shaina Partlow. Shaina is a career coach here at the Purdue CCO. As a career coach, she provides guidance for both students and alumni when it comes to job search strategies and career development. In this episode, we discuss what to do when you are at a standstill in your job search. This summer, students experience a unique challenge with COVID-19. This situation leaves many students struggling to find a job or internship. Some students who even had internships and jobs lined up only to have them canceled in the last couple of weeks. So, what happens if you don’t have any interviews? Or when you apply to what seems like hundreds of companies, only to hear nothing back from anyone. Today, Shaina will share her personal experience with job search, and advise on how to navigate the frustration that comes with not getting interviews or job offers.
