For this episode of The Success Express, we are going to mix things up a little. Instead of having one interview, we are actually going to have two conversations back to back. In this episode is we are talking about gaining professional experience by partaking in experiential learning opportunities at Purdue. Purdue has a variety of classes or clubs that provide students with hands-on learning experiences, so I want you guys to hear about two great opportunities. You are first going to hear from Nathan Mueller. Nathen is a senior majoring in Industrial Engineering. On top of being busy as an engineering student, Nathen is also the Managing Director for Purdue THINK Consulting. Purdue THINK is a client-centric consulting organization focused on problem-solving and providing content for their clients. After that, you are going to hear from Tyler Van Wyngarden. Tyler is a senior majoring in English and minoring in Professional Writing and Communications. Throughout his college experience, Tyler has gotten involved with Boiler Communication which is a student run PR firm that works with real clients to produce marketing and PR content. Both Nathan and Tyler are going to share their experiences with these organizations and provide advice for students exploring different ways to gain more experience while in college.
