1. Did God create the “[Devil]? The quick answer to the question is “No!” – He did not!
2. But we need to understand exactly who the “devil” is, his nature, and where he came from! Our Heavenly Father did not create this evil being. Why would a “[Loving God]” who created “us” – then create an “evil creature” to make our lives miserable? – He would not – and did not!
3. So let me present to you, the spiritual being, whom our Heavenly Father “did” create: The devil was not always this “[Evil]” – “[Diabolical]” creature we know now as “[Satan]!”
4. Before the “devil” became who he currently is, the “Origin” of Satan is this: God created him a “[Beautiful]” – “[Powerful]” angel He named “[Lucifer]!” (Isa.14:12). The name “Lucifer” means “[Light-bearer].” So, God created “[Lucifer]” in “[Light]!” and no “[Darkness]” was in him.
5. God made Lucifer a “[Perfect]” angel (Ezek.28:15). Not only was Lucifer created “[Perfect],” God also made him in great “[Splendor]” and “[Beauty]!”
6. His “[Wings]” were covered in precious (Gemstones): “Beryl,” “Onyx,” “Jasper,” “Sapphire,” “Turquoise,” “Emerald,” with “[Gold]!” (Ezek.28;13). Can you imagine the stunning beauty of Lucifer’s wings as he spread them out? This was some beautiful angel. God also created special “Music” for him – “Timbrels” and “Pipes,” (vs.13).
7. And God also added “[Free-will]” to “[Lucifer];” same as He did with “Adam” and “Eve” (that both would willingly love and follow Him).
8. God also placed “[Lucifer]” “Above” some of the other angels, and gave him great “[Authority],” over these lesser-ranked angels. He was not an ordinary angel.
9. “[Lucifer]” was an “[Anointed]” Angel! – He was created special! (Ezek.28:14).
10. So, what happened that this once “[Beautiful]” angel became the “[Devil]?” It was his “[Pride]!” – Scripture tells us that because God had created “[Lucifer]” in this special way, he became “[Prideful]!” – he began to think more “[Highly” of himself than he should have]” – and this brought Lucifer down!
11. Scripture tells us that when “[Lucifer]” became full of “[Pride],” using his “[Free-will],” he thought to himself, “[I can be like God]!” - “I will (Ascend) into “[Heaven]!” – I will “[Exalt]” my “[Throne]” “[Above]” the “[Stars of God]!” – I will “(Ascend)” “Above” heights of the “[Clouds]” – I will be like the “[Most High]!” (Isa. 14:12-15).
12. The moment “[Lucifer]” began to desire to “[Rise Above]” and “[Be Like]” his own “[Creator]” – his “[Nature Changed]!” – and he became “[Diabolical]” in his thinking – his “Thoughts” and “[Desires]” now became “[Dark],” and “[Evil],” filled with “[Jealousy]” of the “God” (who made him). Therefore, God changed Lucifer’s name to “[Satan]” or “[The Devil]!” – Meaning, “[Adversary of God]!” (Rev.12:9).
13. Then “[Satan]” went so far as to actually attempt to “[Overthrow]” God’s kingdom! He wanted to set himself up as “[king]!” So, in order to carry out his evil desires, Satan began to plot how to do so. He then began to influenced “[One Third]” of the angels under his authority to join him!
14. The moment these lesser-ranked angels exercised their “Free-will” and agreed to join Satan (rebelling against God), they also became dark, and evil! And God called them “[Demons]!” (Rev.12:4).
15. And together, “[Satan and his Demons]” waged a “[WAR]” against God’s “[Righteous angels]!” But Satan had miscalculated who his “[Creator, our Heavenly Father],” really was/is! What he did not know is that God had already created angles far “Greater” than himself.
16. Therefore, God called on one of his “[Great Warrior]” angels named “[Michael]!” So, “[Michael]” and the righteous angels under his authority, stood ready to
“[Fight]” at the command of our “[Heavenly Father),” for (God, Himself, fights no one)!
17. And a great “[War]” broke out in “[Heaven]!” And “[Michael]” and his righteous angels “[Battled]” against “[Satan]” and his demons! This was the “[Great war of Heaven]!
