Description

1.    “[Can]” and “[Abel]” were the first sons
of “[Adam and Eve]” – and Scripture tells us that God created Adam
and Eve from the “[Dust]” of the “[Ground],” (brown in
color
), therefore, it stands to reason that their sons, Cain and Abel
were also “[Black]!” (Gen.2:7).

So, when you think of “[Cain]” and “[Abel]” visualize them
as handsome, young, Black men!

And from their storyline and history in the
Bible, Scripture will show us what an “Evil Nature” of an individual looks
like (that we may “Recognize,” and “Avoid” such a person at all
cost).

All human beings sin
Both Scripture and life itself shows/tells us so:

If we say we have “[No Sin]” –
we “[Deceive]” ourselves – and the “[Truth]” is “Not” in us (1Jh.1:8).

2.    But there is a huge difference
in a person’s inclination to “sin,” (as we all do), and the “Evil Nature
of an individual who harbors evil thoughts, continuously; and acts on
them
– making a permanent “Evil” Nature.

3.      Ex. “Cain” killed his brother, (Abel)
– that was a grave sin, but not an unpardonable sin by our Heavenly
Father
!

4.    But what shows us the “Evil Nature
of Cain is that he did not feel “Remorse” for what he had done –
nor did he Repent for it.  This
shows us the kind of person he was – his nature! (Gen.4:1-7).

5.      Cain
even got cute w/God when God asked him where was his brother “Abel
after he killed him.  Again,
showing the “Evil Nature” of Cain, he responds back to God,
saying, “Am I my brother’s keeper?” Gen.4:9).

6.    So, we know that there is a huge
difference
between a person who sins (feels remorse about it,
and repents), compared to the individual who takes great pleasure in
their “Evil Doings” (Hurting people), andfeelingno Remorse
about it!
This kind of person has an
Evil Nature!”

7.    So, as Believers in Christ, we must
be “Vigilant” and “Discerning” of the people we “Encounter
and “Involve” ourselves.

Jesus says, “We must be “[Wise]”
as “[Serpents]” and “[Gentle]” as “[Doves],” (Matt.10:16-18).
