Description

The story of
Jethro” in the Bible is very important for (Black people) to
learn.  From it, we see the extraordinary
gifts and talents of God’s Black servants in
the Scriptures.  So, here’s the story of “[Jethro]!”

Scripture tells us that Moses was married to an “[Ethiopian, African]”
woman named “[Zipporah]!” (Num.12:1).
Therefore, Zipporah’s father “[Jethro]” is also African]!”

When Moses fled “[Egypt]” – God guided him in the “Care” of “Jethro!”  When Jethro learned that Moses was now
left “Homeless” (with no family), he welcomed Moes into his
home
and “[Tribe – the Midianite Tribe]” (Ex.2:15).

Jethro then gave Moes a job (keeping the
sheep/shepherd
). “[Jethro]” was the “[Spiritual leader]” of
the Midianites, a “[Priest]” before Moses joined his
family (Ex.3:1).

Therefore, Jethro took Moses under his wings and taught him about the “Living God!  For Moses only knew of idol gods of Egypt
(Acts 7:22).

In the process of time, Moses became attracted to one of Jethro’s beautiful
daughters
, and he married her (Num.12:1).

Again, in the process of time, Moses and his wife gave birth to “2
sons “[Gershom],” and “[Eliezer], (Ex.18:3-4).

So, for the next “40” yrs., Moses lived the life of a married man w/two sons in African culture (Acts 7:23).  So, Moses was under
the spiritual guide of his father-in-law “Jethro” for “40”
years!”

So, when Moses reached “80” years old, God called him to go back to Egypt
to deliver his Hebrew people (Ex.7:7).
