Queen Candace’s story can be
found in the “5th” book of the New Testament Bible
(Acts 8:26-39).
We can determine the approximate time of “[Queen Candace’s rule]” by the Apostle
Philip’s encounter with her “[Treasurer].
“[Candace]” is mentioned in Scripture as being
the “[Queen of Ethiopia], (Acts 8:27).”
Not long after the death of Christ, one of Jesus’ disciples, “[Philip],”was commissioned of the “[Holy Spirit]” to share the “[Gospel of
Jesus Christ]” with one of (Queen of Ethiopia Candace’s) “[Eunuch/Treasurers].”
The encounter occurred when the eunuch (castrated male) was returning
home after going to “[Jerusalem]” to meet the “[Queen]” there
– to “[worship].”
By this, we know that the “[Queen Candace]” and her “[Treasurer]”
were “[Black Hebrew Jews]” because they were “[Ethiopian Jews]!”
and only “[Jews]” worshiped in “[Jerusalem].”
When Philip approached him, the Treasurer was reading in the “[Book
of Isaiah].” When Philip asked the eunuch
if he knew what that particular Scripture meant, the Treasurer confessed
that he did not – he was reading Isaiah’s prophecy of the coming “[Messiah].”
After Philip told the Treasurer all the things that had happened
concerning “[Jesus Christ],” explaining the prophecy he was
reading had been fulfilled – then the Treasurer “[Believed],” and
was “[Baptized]!” (Acts 8).
