Prior to the
“Flood,” the earth had become sooo dominated by “Sin” and “Wickedness,”
the sight of it actually made our Heavenly Father “Sick” to his stomach
(so to speak). Scripture quotes exactly
how God felt about it, saying, “The “[Wickedness]” of man was “[Great]!”
– and every “[Intent]” of his “[Thoughts]” of his “[Heart]” was only “[Evil],”
continually!” (Gen.6:5).
As God
witnessed the conduct of our ancestors, and saw what they were doing, our
Heavenly Father found it to be so “Egregious,” He actually became “[Grief-stricken]!”
– and it hurt His “[Heart]” to see how far his children had
fallen from the “[Beautiful creatures]” He had made in the beginning.
This
grief became so heavy in our Father’s heart, Scripture tells
us that God was “[Sorry]” that He had ever “[Made/Created]” mankind
(Gen.6:6).
So, God made
a decision – His “Patience” had run out w/mankind! Therefore, He decided to “Destroy” all
of them! – to wipe them out (the entire generation)! And He did so by way of the “40” Day
Flood! So this was the “End”
of our “Second” world.
