1. Jesus (After His Resurrection),
appeared to “Mary Magdalene,” (FIRST)!
This was the woman whom Jesus had cast out “7” demons (Lk.8:2). Filled with exceeding “Joy,” Mary ran
and told Jesus’ Disciples that He had “Risen” and was “Alive!” But they did not believe her (Mk.16:9-11).
2. Next, Jesus appeared to “11”
of his Disciples (Thomas was not with the others when Jesus
appeared to them). So, when Thomas
returned, they told him Jesus had “Risen” and was “Alive!” And
Thomas doubted them, saying, “Unless I see in “[His hands],” the “[Print
of the nails],” – and “[Put my hands into His side],” I will “not” believe.”
3. “8” days later, Jesus
appeared to the Disciples again (Thomas being among them this
time). And Jesus said to Thomas,
“[Reach your “[Finger here],” and “[Look at My hands]” – and “[Reach your
hand here],” and “[Put it into My side]! Do not be unbelieving, but “[Believing]!”
– and Thomas answered and said to Him, “[My Lord],” – and “[my God]!” (Jh.20:24-28).
So, because of Thomas’ disbelief, Jesus blesses his followers today who
“Believe” without seeing, (vs.29).
4. Not only did Jesus appear to Mary, and His Disciples after His Resurrection,
(as though it was limited to only a few people would know He had been
resurrected back to life), No, not at all!
for Jesus walked and talked to many people for “40”
days before He ascended back to His Father. Jesus even appeared before a crowd of more
than “500” people at one time, after His Resurrection (1
Cor.15:6-8).
5. Scripture Ref.: “To whom He also
presented Himself “[ALIVE]!” after his suffering by many infallible
proofs, being “[Seen by them]” during “40” days – and “[Speaking]”
of the things pertaining to the “[kingdom of God]!” (Acts 1-3).
Conclusion:
After the “40” days were passed, and Jesus ascends
back to His Father, He give his last statement to His Disciples:
“Now when He had spoken these things, while they “[Watched],”
– he was “[Taken up]!” and a “[Cloud received him]” out of their
sight.
And while they looked steadfastly toward “[Heaven]” as
He went up, - behold, “2” men stood by them in “[White apparel],”
who said,
“Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven?”
This same “[Jesus],” who was taken up from you into heaven, will
so come in “[Like manner]” as you saw Him go into heaven,” (Acts
1:9-11).
