Resist the world - The Bible tells us the world is controlled by the devil for he is “the god of this world” and “the prince of the power of the air.” The values of this world are at odds with your Maker and His Christ. The systems of this world have been created by the devil and evil people. Is it any wonder that the Bible tells us, “know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” (James 4:4) Not only do we have to resist the world, with its values and systems, from entering into our heart, we must also resist this world, and it's heinous master, from clutching the minds and hearts of people! All the souls of this world have been bought with the precious blood of Christ and every soul is rightfully His. If you are going to resist corruption, tyranny, and injustice, then you must resist this world in yourself and work to free others from its stupefying and deadly grasp!
