Sharon and her husband decided to start trying for a family at the age of 32 and fell pregnant pretty quickly, but soon after started to bleed and was the first miscarriage she experienced. They got the ok to try again and fell pregnant once again fairly quickly. It was coming up to the 12 week mark as they went in for their scan to discover there was no heart beat and unfortunately experienced their second miscarriage to which she was taken in on the same day to have a D&C. While having doubts about if her body would be able to carry a child, started guessing if it would ever happen. 6 months later they fell pregnant, and their first child was born via emergency c-section. Sharon experienced another 2 miscarriages, before falling pregnant again and welcomed their second child. They later welcomed their third child and that completed their family. Sharon had kept searching for answers to maybe find the answers to why she had so many miscarriages and found that she may have adenomyosis and the only way to solve her ongoing pain was to have a hysterectomy, which of the recording of this podcast was happening in just a few weeks time.
