How to not take offence begins with a quality decision to stand without offence before God. This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offence toward God and men. (Acts 24:16) For us to not take offence we need to practise and mature in two DIRECTIVES: 1) Reaffirm your Identity in Christs - One of the most common reasons people take offence is insecurity. 2) The only Biblical justification for judgement is confrontation - If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
