Today, we celebrate 117 years of Service to All Mankind across the globe, and yes, that includes the United Kingdom! In this video, I’m diving into the presence of Black Greek Life in the UK, where historic Black sororities and fraternities are thriving. From the establishment of an NPHC (National Pan-Hellenic Council) to the growing influence of these organizations, I’ll share how this community has expanded internationally.
As of today, there are six Black Greek organizations in the UK, and I’ll be talking about how this movement continues to gain momentum. I’ll also reflect on my personal efforts to bring an Alpha Kappa Alpha chapter back to London and what that means for the future of Black Greek life in the UK.
