Description

We interrupt your regular programming to bring you - THE EGGSHELLS INTERVIEWS.

In these full interviews with our guests, expect excellent insights amid rambling chat, as together we explore how to disagree better! We're sharing our guest's words in context so that you can delve deeper into a conversation of your choice with an Eggshells' guest you love.

Arabella Gibbins’ special subject is breath and she gives us some fantastic exercises and insights in this interview. She explains fight, flight and freeze to us - she speaks about and advocates for breathwork in so many different forms, especially useful if you're a beginner - she talks about emotions, empathy and arguing with her family - basically, she’s incredibly generous with her time and words. This is an interview to listen to if you want to learn how to manage your emotions during disagreement, if you liked the fight/flight/freeze episodes, and also one to return to if you find Bella’s voice and general self to be as soothing as we do!

Bella is a voice coach, songwriter and, in her words, a lifelong learner. She teaches singing, she trained as an actor during which time she was introduced to a range of vocal approaches and practitioners, and so after a few years she decided to complete her MFA in Voice Studies. She then joined the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts as a voice tutor. She runs Voice, Breath & Wellbeing workshops around the UK (https://www.theeggshellspodcast.com/team-1/bella-gibbins).
