Original title: "What does new media look like?"

What will storytelling look like when we lose our addiction to the external enemy? Can you have art without conflict? SENSORY WARNING: I'm eating M&Ms and crunching right into the mic for the beginning of this.

(P.S. 2022 me actually thought of the / an answer: COMEDY! Duh, seems almost too obvious to me now. Even Shakespeare was split into Tragedy and Comedy. Current me feels that humor is the only thing besides drama that can keep a story compelling, can keep someone invested.)

(P.P.S. I also suppose that engaging explorations of our world -- internal and external, micro- and macro-cosmic -- would be compelling as well! My Line 1 would eat that up.)
