We exist to encourage adventure (of every kind) so that people will experience a fuller life
Kirk had a horrifying conversation with his wife during Wednesday Wash on Nov. 24, 2021. After some storytelling and gameplay, Kirk asked Jennifer about emotional violence, and if it could be comparable to physical violence. The stress induced by this conversation was immense, and finally, Kirk revealed why he started the conversation in the first place.
The inner vow Kirk had made was that he would not be abused by any woman emotionally again. Sadly, this made relationships with anyone difficult at best, and emotionally crushing more often than not.
What inner vows have you made to stop the kind of suffering you went through as a child?
We hope you have someone who loves you who you can discuss this with.
DO NOT FEEL PRESSURE TO ANSWER IN THE COMMENTS!
Your wounds are real, and powerfully involved in your life. The evidence for this is how Kirk interacts with his wife in the conversation. (You can watch it in the Wednesday Wash episode if you are able. It is horrifying. You have been warned.)
