Description

This weeks episode is an in-depth discussion on the 90's grunge band Alice in Chains. First the guys talk about spring cleaning, the real struggle when having pets, and question whether cats think they own you or the other way around.

The conversation then turns to Alice in Chains and where they see the band in the early 90's wave of grunge music amongst bands like Nirvana or Pearl Jam. John and Tony discuss the band's early struggles, AIC touring with Van Halen(Hagar), the awesome music videos released, and they go through the discography of the Layne Staley era and talk about how each album had its own unique characteristic that separated them from the rest.

As the show winds down they go on to talk about the legacy the Layne Staley left behind, the dark undertones of the lyrics, and the very serious topic of addiction and mental illness.
