Description

The guys are back after a week off to talk about the 1999 comedy Dogma. But first, John laments the existence of yard work while owning a home which brings up a discussion about dying trees and a nightmare scenario about a dead tree falling on Tony's house while awake and the horrific sound it makes. They also talk about the entire View Askew universe before getting into the topic of the day.

Then the guys do a deep dive into Kevin Smith's classic. The talk about the controversy of the film upon its release, the Catholic League's fake vendetta against the film, and the Harvey Weinstein connection before his #metoo accusations and ultimate conviction on sexual assault.

John and Tony then go on to break down the game film and chat about why Alan Rickman was so iconic in all his roles, John's secret love of the Harry Potter movies, and also go into their own views of faith and why it should or should not be respected.
