When we think of the Holy Land, we usually focus on the conflict between Israeli Jews and Palestinian Muslims. But what about Christians? How do they fit in?
The Rev. Dr. Fadi Diab is the rector at both St. Andrew’s in Ramallah and St. Peter’s in Birzeit. Today Father Fadi joins us with his wife and his teenage son. The goal of this gathering is to share food and fellowship; to learn about life and ministry in the Diocese of Jerusalem; and to raise awareness about the plight of the Palestinian community in general and the Palestinian Christian community in particular.
The Episcopal Diocese of Olympia has long shared a partnership with the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem. Every year, our Good Friday offering goes to the support of the Anglican Church in the Holy Land.
