18 year-old Jamaican Jordan Hewitt is a recipient of a full scholarship to MIT, one of the most renowned academic institutions.

From a young age he exhibited a passion for knowledge and a thirst for discovery. A student at Campion College, he has been leaving a trail of academic excellence both locally and regionally.

He achieved five grade ones in the 2022 CAPE Unit 1 with straight 'A' profiles in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Pure Mathematics and Communication Studies ranking in the top 10 regionally in four of the five subjects. Im 2021, Jordan excelled in the CSEC exams earning Distinctions and achieving top regional rankings in several subjects.

Alongside his academic pursuits he developed the website "Quelper" a resource hub to assist students across the Caribbean in their CSEC exams preparations.

Jordan will be pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering and plans to use his passion for biology to improve lives through his groundbreaking work.
