Description

At 27 years old, he has been the recipient of over 300 honors, awards and scholarships from the primary to the post graduate level. At Ardenne Preparatory school he was Head Boy and top GSAT  performer which earned him a government Scholarship to Ardenne High School.
He received 10 distinctions in the CSEC exams  in 2011 and was the recipient of the American Ambassadors Academic Achievement Award. He continued to perform exceptionally earning 8 distinctions in the CAPE exams. He captained the school to victory in the School's Challenge Quiz and repeated the feat as Head coach 2 years later in 2015 becoming the youngest person to win the competition as both player and coach at just 20 years old.
At the University of the West Indies he graduated with a First Class Honors degree in Economics and Banking & Finance (double major)
At the youth level he has worked with CARICOM and the United Nations. He was also appointed a Youth Advisor to the Government of Jamaica as well as an ambassador to the Governor General. He was also the National Volunteers Centre's Young Leader of the Year.
He recently received the Prime Minister's Youth Award for excellence in Academics. Keenen is also the holder of certificates from the prestigious Harvard University and Oxford University.
Keenan's academic research has centered on devising means of solving some of the most pressing challenges experienced by countries of the developing world.
