Living in Seivwright Gardens also known as Cockburn Pen in Kingston Jamaica, Kemar Setal could easily have been drawn into a life of guns and gangs. However witnessing how the rights of the poor are often violated by police officers due to ignorance of the law, Kemar was sure he wanted to be a lawyer.
Living in an environment that certainly was not conducive to learning, Kemar through self-motivation, determination and his mantra' whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve' was able to graduate from law school and was recently called to the bar.
