Ten year old Ngozi Wright made history in 2019, when at seven years old she along with with her twin brother Tafari became the youngest persons to speak in the Jamaican Parliament in a Special Session on Violence against Children.
The young dub poet who is also the daughter of Jamaican artiste Majah Bless has been performing since she was 2 years old.
She has received several awards at the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission Festival Speech Competition over the years.
In 2019 she dominated the 2019 Finals. copping several awards including Most Outstanding Female Presentation for her poem "Mi Waan Di Visa" as well as the Louise Bennett Award for Best Jamaican Speech Presentation.
She is a student at Jessie Ripoll Primary School.
