The economy is by far and away the most important issue in this campaign. As Bill Clinton famously once said, "It's the economy stupid!" The big difference between Harris and Trump on the economy is that Trump thinks government should get out of the way, and Harris thinks government can help. Trump's essential approach is to lift government off the backs of Americans and let them keep more of what they make and remove impediments to doing business. Harris on the other hand want to capture more of your money, rinse it through the Washington D.C. machine and give back to you what they think you should have.
