What do you need to know to give somebody your vote? Believe it or not, I used to think about this a lot. Ultimately what you come to is a desire to understand somebody's "world view". How they think about the way the world works. Whether they believe in the individual or the collective. Do they understand something about how an economy works and the government's role in its operation? With respect to Kamala Harris, we have come upon strange territory! She is completely incapable of sharing a coherent opinion about anything. We'll have to wait and see if this strategy works. Her boss successfully elevated himself to the presidency by hiding in the basement. Anything is possible!
