Raena is the Founder and CEO of Verve Strategy, Inc, a professional coaching and consulting firm on a mission to help women build wealth through entrepreneurship. As a Certified Coach and former corporate executive, Raena helps women master their mindsets and acquire the skills needed to get their businesses out of their heads, into the market, and positioned for growth. Before launching Verve, Raena spent over 10 years developing and growing a broad portfolio of innovative programs to improve health care quality at a leading healthcare organization.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Ms. Akin-Deko earned her BS in Anthropology-Zoology and Master’s in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan. She is an unapologetic bibliophile. When not adding to her hoard, she is surfing the web searching for new adventures to take with her husband, Dipo, her eldest son, Grant, and twins Riley and Logan.
