In this episode, Zoe and I debunk some LGBTQ+ myths and stereotypes:

1. Gender and sex are the same thing
2. Being trans is a lifestyle we choose
3. You can’t be non-binary and use ‘binary’ pronouns
4. Every person knows they’re LGBTQ+ from a young age
5. You can’t be gay if you’ve been in a heterosexual relationship
6. You can make someone gay or trans
7. Aromantic people are cold and heartless
8. There are no straight people in the LGBTQ+ community

I’m really excited to share this episode with you, as Zoe does some fantastic work on their social media accounts providing queer education and support. Hopefully you’ll either learn something you didn’t know about LGBTQ+ identities before, or you’ll be armed with some kick-ass comebacks against anyone who holds these views.
