In this episode Beth and I talk about gender expression. We start by challenging the common misconception that you have to act or look a certain way to be LGBTQ+.
We explore more about what gender expression is and the importance of exploring your gender expression for everyone. Within this we discuss some common societal stereotypes about gender and the ways we express ourselves, and subsequent challenges queer people face in response to their gender expression.
We all have a gender, and we all at some point have felt a pressure to fit in, so this episode is a must to break down those expectations and embrace whatever form of identity expression feels right for you.
