With Fred MacMurray and Jean Arthur (in Barbara Stanwyck's role). Jean plays a woman arrested for shoplifting, a kind-hearted prosecutor doesn't want her to spend Christmas in jail, so he posts her bail. Problem is, she has nowhere to go, so he takes her home to his mother for a family Christmas.
