Why do some people have this heart of service? They serve others without getting paid. The thought also occured to me before. Why do these people just continue to serve without getting any 'thing' back in return? Volunteers, servants in churches, non-profit organizations, charities. I mean why do they go through all these troubles just to be able to help others?
In this episode, I show you exactly why. And people who serve do actually get 'paid' but with something else that's more valuable than just money. And this reward is what drives them to keep on serving and live fulfilled lives. Want to know what that is? Watch the whole video.
I'll also show you the recent outreach we did with Project Pearls, a non-profit organization who helps uplift the lives of poor families especially in Tondo, Manila. You will see the smiles of the families we were able to help. You will also get to hear from one of the Project Pearls volunteers why they continue to do what they do. And believe it or not, some of the volunteers actually live and came from the community they are serving in!
