In Christ, we enjoy life. There is no joy outside of Christ. In Him, we have joy unspeakable and full of glory. Joy is not the absence of pain or sorrow; the presence of God is what gives joy. His joy gives us strength.
The Bible says, "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say rejoice." Do not put your joy on hold because of your expectation. Begin to enjoy life where you are on the way to where you are going. You will have the joy of the Lord that is not dependent on happenings when you begin to celebrate God's goodness.
