Directed by students at Claremont Graduate University, Foothill: a journal of poetry is an annual print and online poetry journal that features the work of emerging poets enrolled in graduate programs around the world. The journal is sponsored by the School of Arts & Humanities at CGU, which is also home to the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award & Kate Tufts Discovery Award. As the Tufts Poetry Awards honor and support poets ascending the difficult beginning and middle summits of their careers, Foothill promotes those still laboring through the apprenticeship of graduate study.
