On this week's Career Therapy Podcast (e.75), we welcome psychologist Rosette Elghossain. Rosette is a first-generation Lebanese-American licensed clinical psychologist in private practice. She primarily helps women navigate and heal from family of origin trauma, relationship problems, perfectionism, shame, and third-culture challenges. In today’s episode we talk about the issues that arise when we abandon our sense of self and go on auto-pilot in order to please others in our career and life, how to tell the difference between a narcissistic, toxic, or just overworked boss, and why the “War on Ordinary” is creating so many issues in our ability to enjoy life and find contentment in what we have.
