In this latest episode of @ironpillar's Big Picture conversation, I had the opportunity to speak with @S. V. Mahadevan MD (Dr. Maha), a dear friend, an investor, entrepreneur and distinguished member of the Iron Pillar Network (#IPN). Maha is the former head of Emergency Medicine at Stanford University and practicing physician. In this fun and open conversation, he talks about the life event that triggered his interest in medicine, why he chose emergency medicine in particular and his close relationship with entrepreneurs impacting the world of healthcare.
It was especially fascinating to hear Maha's thoughts around the similarities between entrepreneurs and ER physicians. BTW, he literally wrote the ambulatory protocol used throughout India serving nearly 800 million people.
