This is an active missing persons case.
Thomas Messick Sr. a white male in his early 80’s at the time of his disappearance. Was last seen on November 15th, 2015 at 10AM in Horicon, NY (Brant Lake). Messick has Gray hair and blue eyes. Messick's right eye is missing; he lost it in an explosion in his twenties. Messick is 5’10 and 160 lbs. Last seen wearinga camouflage-print jacket and camouflage-print coveralls or pants, duck boots, gloves, and an old red and black checkered hat. Carrying a walkie-talking and a rifle. Messick has poor hearing and vision, a bad back and a history of heart problems. He was recovering from shingles at the time of his disappearance.
