The truth is it's never about the nurses. It's not about the healthy work environment for nurses. It's always about improving the numbers and what's good for the companies we work for. And it sucks because it feels like we're working like servants in a palace, not nurses. How can nurses work in these conditions? How can we bridge these gaps and make them more universal? We need solutions to these problems. We need better nurse-patient ratios, or extra nurses to help out. But the reality is, it's not about that.
