Not knowing what we were getting into, Tara and I watched The White Lotus on HBO Max, with little explanation as to what it would be. Needless to say, if you have seen it, is that this is a 6 episode drama/dark comedy that is meant to make you feel angry and upset with almost every person you meet and the conversations they have, but not in a bad way. What makes this a must watch is not the comedy or the drama but its the message... you are supposed to get upset and frustrated and that not everything is going to have a happy ending. Then doing a complete 180 we talk about Disney's Encanto. The music, the art and animation all make this a great move but the cast and the writing make it even more amazing. This has been one of Tara's top movies and it's not hard to see why. So come and join us as we get frustrated and upset but also excited and happy as we discuss what we watched.
