Missy looked like she had it all. For many years she was an executive in an incredibly successful family business in the design industry. Missy then became a stay at home single mom and is now an empty nester working for a renowned plastic surgeon in NYC. For years, Missy acted like she had it all together. But what no one knew was that she was slowly and privately unraveling from the inside out…Drugs and alcohol were her best friends, her peace of mind and her oxygen mask… until they weren’t and she almost lost it all.
Missy wasn’t sure about coming onto the podcast, she says, “Sometimes I think I have nothing to say. Then I speak up in a meeting or to someone who’s curious and I realize that my story has a listener and someone who can learn and grow from my mistakes and my journey.”
