Welcome back, friends and family. This week on the podcast we continue our journey of horror films through the decades as we talk about the 1950s. My buddy, Jonathan, and I got together to talk about the societal effects horror experienced during the decade. The post-World War II effects introduced us to mad scientists and mutant creatures. The fear of visitors from other worlds also played a role in the shaping of our films. We discussed a few films that we watched related to the era and we also investigate what inspired some of the films based on the culture surrounding them.
