The Evening Express on the 25th of June, 1908 published the following piece, a small note on page three: “The Spanish liner Larache, from Buenos Ayres, has been wrecked between Muros and Puerto del Sun. There are no details of the disaster to hand, but forty passengers who were on board the vessel have reached Muros.”
