On this week’s episode, how Justin Choquette turned his passion for photography and adventure into the well known digital brand, Justin Choquette. Growing up just outside of Vancouver in British Columbia, Justin always found himself exploring the beautiful outdoors on family trips or on hiking trips with friends. In grade six, Justin began getting interested in photography and videography while capturing adventures of hiking and biking with his GoPro and sharing it on social media. While he knew he enjoyed photography and was passionate about it, he decided to go to trade school to be an electrician.
During his time as an electrician, Justin would listen to podcasts and audiobooks all about how to run a business, how to market a product, and was inspired by everything he was learning. After working twelve hour plus days as an electrician for a year, Justin decided to put what he had learned into practice, quit his job, and started his photography business. Justin is a determined, hard-working, humble, talented, and inspiring person and we had so much fun getting to learn more about his story.
