On this week’s episode, how Earn Dunn turned his passion for jiu-jitsu into the well known digital brand, Alpha & Omega Jiu-Jitsu. Growing up in a family that was very competitive and athletic, Earl often found himself in competitions with his cousins and siblings whether it was in sports, wrestling, or even playing musical instruments. Earl grew up around Knoxville, Tennessee and never really pictured himself ever leaving his hometown.
After working for his dad, meeting his wife, graduating from Bible college, and moving from Nashville to Kingsport, Earl fell in love with jiu-jitsu after watching videos on YouTube. Fast forward a few years, Earl now owns his own jiu-jitsu studio, has over 1 million followers on TikTok, and is determined to help people know how to protect themselves in self defense. We enjoyed talking with Earl about his journey and are even more convinced that Earl is one of the most humble people on this Earth.
