Description

In Episode 95, Gen and Jette finally take on the science fiction genre! We've put it off until now because neither of us thought we read much sci-fi, but it turns out we've read more than we thought and we actually love it! A lot of the books we talk about in this one might not be the ones that first come to mind when you think of sci-fi, but that's what makes the genre so interesting — there's so much variety!

SHOW NOTES

Did you catch Jette's not-reference to Paper Houses?

We're going to cook up a recommendation list for getting into science fiction based on books you already like to read.

The Octavia Butler book about vampires is not Lilith's Brood, it's Fledgling.

Predictably, we couldn't help talking about some films as well. There's so much great science fiction out there!

Is sci-fi secretly our favourite genre?

We did our best to round up everything mentioned in the episode and list it below, but we talked about so much some things may have slipped through the cracks.
