She has photographed Bob Dylan, Depeche Mode, Berlin, BB King, and Tina Turner. She shares stories of almost getting hit in the head by a bench while photographing Jerry Lee Lewis. Her time with Pince and working with John Davidson at his music camp in Catalina Island.

Photojournalist Nancy Clendaniel is best known for her work as the house photographer for The Beverly Theatre, in Beverly Hills, CA and as personal photographer for legendary disc jockey, Wolfman Jack. In addition to her work in the music industry, Clendaniel also specializes in travel, theatrical portraiture and public relations photography. Nancy also served as the archivist for Bruce Karsh (working in affiliation with Apple Ltd. and L.E.G. Productions) - cataloging his Walter Shenson Collection of photographs, prints, negatives and other memorabilia from The Beatles films A Hard Day Night and Help. Nancy's photograph 'Little Slugger' was winner of the 2008 Fresh M.I.L.K. International Photography Competition, and published in the tabletop book: 'Friendship, Family, Love & Laughter.' In September 2018, Nancy is publishing her 3rd book 'The JDSSC Experience' - a documentary photo project celebrating the 40th Anniversary of 'John Davidson's Singer's Summer Camp' held on Catalina Island (Summer 1978 & 1979). Now considered the prototype for programs like 'American Idol, 'The JDSSC Experience' serves to honor & preserve the legacy of entertainer John Davidson's and all of the 'original American Idols' who participated! After working in LA and London for many years, Nancy is now based outside of Seattle, WA. Along with on-going photographic assignments, she is currently involved in the marketing & digital preservation of her photographic archive,'The Clendaniel Collection.'
