Shanika Denise Moore is the Founder & Executive Producer of Sistah Soul Productions, based in Southern California and Chicago. She is a resilient and resourceful filmmaker who has mostly produced music videos and short films, but now has turned her focus to feature films. With a few projects now in development, her aim is to tell character-driven, high concept, socially impactful stories, Shanika dives deep into the development of scripts and film packaging, helping filmmakers get their projects ready for pitch. She has worked in the film festival circuit as an Operations Manager for Asian Pop-Up Cinema in Chicago, a celebration of standout Asian films presented to the states. Her projects include music videos such as: Liar, Vacay, and Good Luck to You. Her short films include: Land of Odds, The Chair, Awake, Societatis, and many others. With so many great things ahead, Shanika continues her journey to diversify creative teams in front of and behind the camera. Her upcoming projects in development include: THE RIDE HOME, PAPA BOIS, and ZOTALIH: THE HIDDEN STONE.
