Cherrie McRae, better known as 'Cher' was born in Miami, Florida, and lives in Metropolitan Atlanta. She attributes her creative roots to her Great Aunt, American jazz vocalist and pianist, Carmen McRae. She is of hybrid decent; African American and Native American. Cherrie developed an early interest in the arts, and began her acting career on local cable networks (1999) merging into Stage and Theatre in College (2005). Cher is also a Film Director/Producer, Philanthropist and Empowerment Author/Speaker. She is the middle child of 2 siblings (brothers) and one Son, Cj who also works behind the camera.
