Kevin Longa has been working on an international food documentary short film series called TASTE. He’s filmed with dictator-fighting restaurateurs in Myanmar, slow food snail farmers in Vienna, Jewish bakers who fight anti-Semitism with their Hebrew-inspired cake designs in Budapest, native hunters in Borneo, culinary preservationists in Bhutan, former felons-turned-fine dining chefs and many more. This is a very personal project that he has dedicated his life to. Kevin has been making films ever since he was an overweight eight-year-old and learned early (at 11 years old) that he had a possible future of developing type 2 diabetes. So he started learning about his food and health the best way he knew how: through using his video camera. He made his first food documentary projects in middle school and is still making films today.
