Pedro Gabriel is a Portuguese oncology doctor, with a penchant for Shakespeare, Milton, Chesterton, Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and Charles Williams. As a published writer of fantasy novels, he seeks to better understand the relationship of God and Man by focusing on the frailty of the human condition, be it physical or spiritual. Since his younger years, Pedro has been fascinated by ancient myths and legends, and dreamed of creating his own full mythology one day. “The Chronicles of Dumah” is the fulfillment of this dream.
Pedro chats about his new novel Ironcraft: The Chronicles of Dumah, a fantasy fiction epic. Taking its name from the Hebrew word for “silence”, Dumah is a brand new cosmos with fascinating locations, imagination-inducing creatures, and incredible heroes.
